How do I get a library card?
To get a library card, you must present an item with proof of a valid mailing address (i.e. a piece
of canceled mail), and photo identification. You must fill out an
application or bring a completed application with you.
If you are under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present, show proof of a valid mailing address, and sign the card application.
The first library card is FREE with a $1.00 replacement charge for a lost or stolen card. Treat
your library card as you would your credit card; report a lost or stolen card immediately. Always bring your library card when checking out items.
You are responsible for all materials borrowed on your library card from the time they are checked out until they are checked in.
If you would like to apply for a card online please go to our
online registration form. You will still need to bring the verification listed above to your local library to receive your card. Please mention that you have filled out this form online.
