Eagle County (CO) Historical Society Eagle County Historical Society is dedicated to the maintenance, publication and education regarding the local history of our county. This area has a rich history associated with all that makes the West the West. Native American culture, mining, agriculture, ranching and recreation all have played important roles in our past.
We strive to preserve and record that history through our programs of education, publishing and maintenance of a local history museum.
COGenWeb Project This site maintained by volunteers, is dedicated to organizing Colorado genealogical information into one web site. Information includes vital records, cemetery information, census information, and links to Colorado genealogical societies.
Colorado State Archives This site maintained by the State of Colorado includes numerous links to historical information on Colorado. Some of the links include Alfred Packer, notable Coloradans, a history chronology, history FAQs, and much, much more.
