Public Relations Librarian
EAGLE VALLEY LIBRARY DISTRICT is accepting applications for the position of Public Relations Librarian. This 40 hour benefited position plans and directs the District’s publicity, public relations, media contacts, graphics program, and manages the library’s web site and Facebook page. Duties include the promotion of library resources and services, outreach in the community, design and preparation of library publicity pieces, coordination of the library’s web site and volunteer program. ALA accredited MLIS degree is required. Some night and weekend duty is required. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Pay range is $50,000-$70,000. Reference and Adult Programming Librarian
EAGLE VALLEY LIBRARY DISTRICT is accepting applications for the position of Reference and Adult Programming Librarian. This 40 hour benefited position works with staff districtwide to coordinate reference services and programming for adults, offers training for staff and the public, and performs outreach programs and special activities. Duties include providing reference assistance to library users in person and electronically, working with community groups to develop and expand reference services and adult programs, collection development, staff and patron training in the use reading devices, databases, and research. Library Cataloger
EAGLE VALLEY LIBRARY DISTRICT is accepting applications for the position of Library Cataloger. This 40 hour benefited position performs cataloging and classification of library materials, participates in system-wide projects, provides expertise to patrons and staff regarding the retrieval of information via the library’s online catalog, and participates in the development of departmental policies and procedures. Duties include cataloging, classification, coordination of workflow, staff training, preparation of various reports and some public service desk duty. ALA accredited MLIS degree is required.
