Eagle Valley Library District Public Use of Meeting Rooms

Eagle Valley Library District, dedicated to free expression and free access to ideas representing all points of view concerning the problems and issues of our time, provides a free meeting space for non-profit organizations.

Policy for Using Meeting Rooms:

*Meeting rooms may be used only by non-profit organizations.

*An Eagle Valley Library District library card is required to book the rooms.

*There may be no fees charged or donations accepted by organizations using the rooms.

*All meetings must be free and open to the public.

*No smoking is allowed in the library, including meeting rooms, bathrooms, and entry.

*All meeting rooms are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and may be reserved up to sixty days in advance.  Regular weekly meetings are discouraged and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

*Food and/or non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in the meeting rooms if the organization receives permission in advance and pays a $10.00 fee to Friends of the Eagle Valley Library District.  A $20.00 cleaning fee will be charged to the user if the room is not returned to its original condition. 

*The Conference Rooms may be used during regular library hours only.

*Earliest admittance to the Beaver Creek & Holy Cross Rooms is the hour the staff is scheduled to report to work on a given day.   No staff member will be asked to come in early to accommodate meetings.

  • Screen
  • Lectern
  • Chairs & Tables
  • White Board or Paper
  • TV, VCR, & DVD Player
