Celine is the title character in Peter Heller's book about an older woman who is an unconventional private investigator. Her specialty is reuniting families when someone goes missing. Gabriela, a beautiful young woman with a tragic past, approaches Celine with an assignment. Her mother was killed when she was a small child, and her father in his grief removed himself and eventually went missing. He became a professional photographer and was presumed to have been killed by a Yellowstone grizzly. But the investigation left questions and no body was found. Celine takes on this case, and she and husband Peter travel to Yellowstone to follow up on the photographer’s disappearance, even though it is many years later and that it may prove dangerous – they suspect they are being followed. This title is also available in audio.
