About Books in Bloom


Discover an opportunity to meet three exceptional authors and hear them speak about the creative writing process, their literary passions, inspirations and experiences as writers at the 8th Annual Books in Bloom on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa. The authors featured at this year’s Books in Bloom are Karen Abbott, Melanie Benjamin and Carter Wilson. After the conclusion of the author presentations, they each will be available for book signing and their books will be available for purchase at the event. Come mingle with the authors and fellow book lovers, enjoy lively discussions, and sample delicious appetizers.

Can't join us for Books in Bloom? Bring your brown bag lunch for a conversation with Carter Wilson on Friday, April 29 at 12:00 pm at the Eagle Public Library. Carter will talk about his journey of becoming a writer. This program is a free event.
