Early Literacy Summer Program

Registration begins June 1!

The Eagle Valley Library District has an Early Literacy Summer Program for caregivers and children from birth to five years old. There are some simple activities that you, as caregivers, can do with your young child at home to help lay the foundation for success in school. It’s as simple as talking, singing, playing, writing and reading together. Stop by the library this summer to pick up an activity sheet or register here to start logging your activities.

Whether you are tracking online or on paper, log 15 activities by September 1 to receive a free picture book or board book.

Older siblings can participate in our Children's Summer Reading Program or Teen Summer Reading Program and you can participate in our Adult Summer Reading Program.

Did you know that Eagle Valley Libraries also have a year-round Early Literacy Reading Program called 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten? Why not sign up for both programs!
