Early Literacy Summer Program

Birth to Five Years Old

Did you know that Eagle Valley Libraries have a fun summer learning program just for little ones?! We've created a simple activity sheet for caregivers and children from birth to five years old. These engaging activities that you, as caregivers, can do with your young child at home will help lay the foundation for success in school. It’s as simple as talking, singing, playing, writing and reading together. Stop by the library this summer to pick up an activity sheet or register here to start logging your activities. Did we mention there's a prize upon completion?

  • Whether you are tracking online or on paper, log 15 activities by Friday, September 3 to receive a free picture book or board book.

Older siblings can participate in our Children's Summer Reading Program or Teen Summer Reading Program and you can participate in our Adult Summer Reading Program.

Eagle Valley Libraries also have a year-round Early Literacy Reading Program called 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten? Why not sign up for both programs!
