The Eagle Valley Library District wants to make sure that everyone in our community has the most important card of all – a free library card! To get a library card, visit one of our branches with photo identification and proof of a valid mailing address (i.e. a piece of mail). If you are under the age of 15, a parent or legal guardian must be present, show proof of a valid mailing address, and sign the card.
- Students at Eagle County School District schools with parental permission may also use their student ID as a library card. More information about this One Card program may be found here.
- Teachers! We can help. Stop into any of the Eagle Valley Libraries with a photo ID and something identifying your employment at a local school to register for an Eagle Valley Library District Teacher Card. Check out up to 40 items for classroom use with no overdue fines! Teacher Cards are valid throughout the school year.
Remember to treat your library card as you would your credit card; report a lost or stolen card immediately as you are responsible for all materials borrowed on your library card from the time they are checked out until they are checked in.
If you would like to apply for a card online please go to our online registration form. You will still need to bring the verification listed above to your local library to receive your card. Please mention that you have filled out this form online.
