After School Programs

Art in the Afternoon

A monthly after school art program for students in grades Kindergarten - 5th grade. Bring your creativity and we'll provide the rest! Program starts in October at the Avon Public Library and registration is required. For more information or to register, please call 970-949-6797.


Book Bunch

A monthly interactive book club for 3rd - 5th grade students held at the Avon Public Library. Students meet to discuss the book and either make a craft; play a game or reenact a scene from the book. Program starts in October. For more information, please call 970-949-6797.


Brain Busters

A monthly after school STEM program for students in grades Kindergarten - 5th grade. Bring your brain work as a team to solve a monthly conundrum. Program starts in October at the Avon Public Library. For more information, please call 970-949-6797.


Genius Hour

A weekly program at the Eagle Public Library for students in grades Kindergarten - 5th grade who are interested in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) topics. Reading Buddies

The Reading Buddies program is a collaboration between The Literacy Project and the Eagle Valley Library District.  Reading Buddies pairs teen volunteers (grades 9-12) with younger students (grades 1-3) for an hour of one-on-one shared reading, once a week for eight weeks.
