Colorado 's Historic Newspaper Collection: Newspapers are one of the most versatile and heavily used sources of information for researchers, genealogists, students and the general public. This collection features stories, society news, classified and picture advertisements, school and church announcements, news from surrounding towns, editorials and cartoons, from Colorado.

Colorado State Archives: This site maintained by the State of Colorado includes numerous links to historical information on Colorado. Some of the links include Alfred Packer, notable Coloradans, a history chronology, history FAQs, and much, much more.

Denver Public Library Western History Photodigitization Project: "A digital image collection of over 50,000 images out of 500,000 photographs held by the Western History Collection, primarily images of Colorado and the American West."

Eagle County Historical Society: is dedicated to the maintenance, publication and education regarding the local history of our county. This area has a rich history associated with all that makes the West the West. Native American culture, mining, agriculture, ranching and recreation all have played important roles in our past.  They strive to preserve and record that history through our programs of education, publishing and maintenance of a local history museum.
