Text Message Notifications

Did you know that you can renew library materials and get information about your items on hold via text message? The Eagle Valley Library District has a text messaging provider called Shoutbomb. With Shoutbomb you can receive text message notifications for items available for pickup and items that are overdue. You will also be able to request information about your current checkouts and fines and renew the items you have checked out!

Text Message Service FAQs

Will I Be Charged For This Service?

The library doesn’t charge a fee for this service, but your cell phone plan’s regular text messaging rates still apply. Check with your cell phone service provider to see the cost of text messages in your service plan.  You can expect a larger volume of text messages with this service.

If you have been recieving phone calls until now please let your local library know you signed up for texts instead so they can stop calling when the items you request become available.

Enter your card # (Full number with no spaces, e.g. 406000xxxxxxx)

Please note this service cannot be used in lieu of a library card and is only intended to provide notifications–you can, however, add your card to a smartphone app as long as the library card barcode is clear and readable.
